I hope he's trading speed for stregnth given he'll probably get drafted as a FB.

What is the big deal did anyone really expect him to be like 220 or something? Scott is a bigger RB not sure why this is a surprise.

Because he is going to run an awful 40 time at that size.

i always thought that the 225 he would be listed at was bogus.... there is no way him and keiland were the same size...

You really think he would run that much better of a time if he were 5 or 10 lbs lighter? I mean seriously that Scott was never going to be a 4.5 guy. He is going to be a between the tackles pound it guy and if he is timed at 4.7 that will be fine at his size.

I mean how fast do you guys think RB's are in the NFL?

Because he's been bustin it at CES in Atlanta for the last 6 weeks. Should have come in at least 5-8 pounds lighter. I just hope he runs under 4.7.

No, but NFL scouts look at things like this. He knows he's overweight and has packed on one too many pounds recently, yet for the biggest job interview of his life he showed to them he cant control his weight problem.

Huge difference in being a "big back" at 5'11ish 238 pounds and about 225. At 238 he is just painfully slow and out of shape. He would be much more effective about 10-15 pounds lighter. He cant carry 240 pounds very well.

Faster than that. Almost no RB runs a 4.7 at the combine. And I thought running a 4.6 would be fine for Scott but I think there is serious question if he can do that now.

I think Shonn Greene ran around the 4.7's at the combine, but he came back and ran better later. I'm not sure Scott can do that.

Zero breakaway speed. I can't believe some folks actually think almost 240 pounds is fine for him. It's not like he's 6'1 or 6'2.

it's crazy that people are acting shocked as if him weighing a lot is a new thing. he rushed for 1200 yards carrying that weight in 2008. he'll be fine

I'll take the slight over. Around 4.75.

He wouldn't be a burner at 225, but probably would have been around 4.65. Which would have improved his stock.

He was not 240 back then. Maybe 230-235, but not as big as he got now. If he just lost some decent weight he could carry himself much better.

Yeah, I wouldn't ever expect anything amazing from Scott speed wise, but at least was looking for something that impresses scouts or is about what they were expecting. Running a 4.7 will impress no one is all I'm saying.
