This is the equivalent of being a backup QB and kneeling for the anthem.

It doesn't do shite, so it accomplishes the exact same thing.

I know it doesnt. But we need Tennesse to win some games now. That bama and a&m game, plus it puts FL out.

OK... So with that logic, when I sit on my couch and binge watch Archer, (since I'm not doing shite) it's the same thing also?

Your comparison makes no logical sense.

Please, explain to my feeble mind how the two situations are similar. I'll wait.

Okay Einstein...read this slow.

Kneeling for anthem = insignificant act that doesn't achieve desired result

Changing favorite team icon = insignificant act that doesn't achieve desired result

I don't give a shite one way or the other about any player standing, kneeling or doing jumping jacks during the national anthem.

That's not even what this conversation is about.

So literally the only similarities you could contrive are the significance and futility of the acts... But you think a polarizing political statement (televised before millions in an NFL game) vs. changing the icon next to a username on a message board is an apt comparison?

...yeah... I'm the dumbass..
