According to Shea, Miles stated that Devin White's role will continue to increase every game noting that he played the most snaps of his career last weekend. Miles said that film has shown that White is one of their top guys on special teams right now.

2 250lb+ LBs-White/Beckwith and a 350lb NT-Valentine

Valentine would be starting if he wasn't so out of shape.

Did (Devin) White play last weekend? I didn't notice. How'd he do?

Riley hasn't done anything to lose his job yet IMO but I would like to see more of White as well. He is just an elite athlete for his size.

The starting NT is just a formality. They rotate pretty often. It's not like TV isn't getting a lot of reps.

Beckwith can be better? He leads the team in tackles with 24.

Valentine 100%

He's already our best NT clearly. Think he played like 21-22 snaps against MSU. Want to see that get up to 30-40 range. Probably just a conditioning thing. He is dominant.

Dont see White overtaking Riley this year, he's played well.

Valentine is not game-ready IMO. He needs to shed about 30 lbs. He's gassed by mid-3rd qtr.

This. He admits he gets tired before halftime. Valentine needs to lose at least 30-40 pounds before he can be a every down NT. As for Riley, I think he has held his own so far and performs better than Beckwith in pass coverage.

Riley has been a nice surprise - quick to the ball, aggressive, and a pretty solid tackler so far.

Valentine basically is starting. He's never going to be a 60 minute player.

Wish we could have had T.Valentine for 3 years . Could you imagine what he could have been this year had he been in system for 3 years. One and done im afraid.
