I think the chances are high. Home, SEC opener. CBS needs to go somewhere else. Florida plays Alabama that weekend. I would think that would be a 2:30 game on CBS. That is if CBS still has first bid over the SECN this season.

On that note. Does CBS still have first pick on SEC games. When does the contract with the SEC end. I really like CBS minus Verne.

If they hold up their end of the deal we are supposed to have a majority of our home games at night.

What deal?? Fans are dumb if they believe there was a deal made that would give LSU more night games if they played A&M on Thanksgiving. Look at the schedule, 7 home games. 3 are against high schools that are always at night. The Bama game would be at night based off ratings. The MSU game is the same day as Bama/UF. CBS will most likely take that game any year, even though they only play once a decade. Kentucky game is the same day as Bama/A&M. Definitely going to be CBS. Ole Miss game is the same week as Bama/UT and South Carolina/Auburn.

The linked article suggests that with one exception. CBS gets to pick one prime time game which one would think this year would be LSU vs Bama.

CBS will have 2 double-header days:

October 11 there will be games at 11:00 and 2:30
November 8 there will be games at 2:30 and 7:00

LINK

October 11 is the day LSU is at Florida, and of course November 8 is the day of the Alabama game.
