If he gets drafted, even if it's really late, would he really want to chance not getting drafted like Ivan Naccarata?

Plus, college seniors who aren't pitchers automatically have a much lower value. Another year like this one and he doesn't sniff the draft next year, but I bet he gets drafted this year.

another year hitting .330 with over 50 RBI is a bad thing?

I guarantee you a hitter who can't play the field and is a senior won't get drafted if he bats lower than .333.

He will be a tweener guy (drafted between rounds 11-17).

Going to be a tough decision but he will do whats best for him and his family

No, but not having a position and being a senior are definite marks against him.

1. having no position means it takes longer to make it to the big leagues.
2. being a senior means he's older. he's worthless to a team if he can't make it by age 28-29.

I agree with you. I just think if he is drafted before round 30, he should definitely go as it may be his only shot.

he would still have about 6 years before he would become worthless then

I don't think he'll be here as a senior either, but I also don't think he is risking not getting drafted at all by coming back for a senior year.

He absolutely is. Even if he is drafted his senior year, it will be after round 30. Which is a shite ton less money if he's drafted around where Clark went last year.

you do realize that there are 50 rounds (plus sandwich picks) of the draft right? Getting drafted in the 30th round isn't really all that close to not getting drafted at all.

He is too good of a hitter not to get a shot. He has shown that he can be an adequate outfielder.

Good hitters get picked up

I wonder how long it will take Moustache to realize MOST major league (And I don't mean AAA/AA/A minors, etc) are not very good fielders. Also, there's a thing called the AL where they have a DH. There's also always PH in either league if they feel there's no way he can play in the field.

That all being said it is 100% stupid to say if he returned for his senior year he wouldn't be drafted even if he hit over .300 once again. There's 50 freakin rounds.

No, he hasn't. He's been AWFUL in teh field.
Maybe he will get his shot at first, but he doesn't have the power to be a MLB 1bman traditionally. Plus, he'll be competing with aging veterans.

Y'all are probably right he will get drafted unless he has a whole season like he did at the beginning of the year. Then I guarantee you he won't get drafted.

Ivan Naccarata got drafted and he batted .320 with 6 HR and 53 RBIs his junior year. He came back adn had a subpar season his senior year (.287 and 4 HR) and he didn't get a shot. He could actually play the field.

Naccarata was in the minors for 3 seasons and played for Italy in the first WBC. I'd say he got a shot.
