Seemed to me like miles just wanted them to have to plan around him possibly being in the game next week.

I don't see any positives in switching from Brandon harris to another mediocre quarterback rather than helping harris develop and showing some trust in him.

Doubtful, unless BH gets injured of course.

Both of our QBs suck.......it's just that Harris sucks less......

Aye, and since Harris had a subjectively mediocre performance, now SC has to consider the possibility that captain hitch himself will be there next week.

Harris does not suck LOL! He just does not pass with enough touch on shorter passes and his WRS aren't helping him. The guy has a cannon for an arm and he is getting better about recognizing what the opposing D is trying to D. He also needs to improve on the throwing off the back foot thing. But part of it is that he is rushing too much. And that is a result of sensing too much pressure on the ends. Our pass blocking leaves much to be desired right now. That will make any QB look more suspect than they are.

We dont really know if Harris can throw short passes, since hes thrown about 9 of them in the last 4 games.

Well, yeah. But I am just going by the small sample we have so far. But from that small sample and the fact we don't do a whole lot of screens and slants the thought here is his lack of finesse is one of the reasons Cam/Miles are not calling for too many of those passes. They are just not willing to have too many 3 and outs due to incompletions on short passes when BH rifles them instead of not or something fluky happens that results in INTS.
