the team sure as hell looked like they were loving it that he was coming in to pitch
when coach mainieri put him in they were all smilling like they knew what was about to happen yea he gave up the hit but shoved up the next 2 guys asses
and when coach was taking him out after he did his job it sure seemed like they were all enjoying it around the mound that he was helping out the team

I listened to the Auburn broadcast yesterday and those two guys were stunned. It was awesome. They gave his football stats and said "Those are the only stats we havee on the sophmore left hander."

As you can see his slider is very tough against lefties. If teams start looking slider, he has to be able to pump 92 on the inside corner. This will be huge addition if he can stay consistent.
If he can get a handful of appearences before tourney time, LSU will be very tough to beat with a complete staff

Watching all the players (and coaches) grinning was awesome. That type of things gets players into it, not that they aren't already, and having FUN thereby taking pressure off of them. That is a great sign.
