I think we may see him again for a few more batters this time. He looked very sharp yesterday. He has shown good composure and a is a freak at covering first base.

Good Luck Tigers.

he didnt look like he has gone through the drills where the pitcher covers 1st base. if he wasnt a beast, and if he was a half a step slower his arse wouldve gotten run over for going through the middle of the bag

I'm pretty confident in him when he's on the mound, maybe too much so given his ERA but I'd rather see him out there than Bert.

he was throwing it hard last nite. i think he topped it at 92 on that last strike out. as a lefty reliever for a batter, or an inning i think he would be nice to see more of. if he can't crack the lineup, maybe he should put in a little work in the pen and get more playing time on the mound.

Seriously.....I don't know about that but I will tell you this his fastball was more lively and more down in the zone last night than it has been in his last few outings that I can remember and down in the zone + 90 MPH = hard to hit

You can't worry about his era. It's all from one appearence. He's a football player first which is why I don't think the pressure consumes him like it might other players. He's got good stuff, Gibbs knows how to use it, and CJ has the sack to not wet himself in a big game. Good combo right there

Hultzen was the pitcher and DH. Do you want Ross to bat to start this game?
