I figured I would let you know that the negative talk comes from lack of:
Execution
Team unity
Overall play from such great talent.


So, blame the Rant for defections, but the Rant blames the coaches.



I just get the feeling that the players know a bit more than we do and what we write on here does not weigh heavily on the players' minds.

Take my alma mater for an example:


Do you really think that the coach from MTSU (Stockstill) is asking his 'tekkies' to flood the internet boards and see what the level of acceptance would be for ECU to hire him?

Could you imagine his agent saying, "Sorry coach, the message board dorks just don't think you belong in Greenville.....They want Mike Leach." --There is your level of reality right there! First of all, Mike Leach ain't considering ECU, but the fans think he is because he has a frikin statue of a Pirate in his office!

GIVE ME A DAMN BREAK, DUDE.



Stop blaming the internet for poor clock management, bad execution and no team unity.

I was told that the Capital One field conditions were created by some angry runaway cattle angry by negative talk on the rant.

Yes, and I understand that.

But go read the message boards. They actually think he's coming. There were bogus reports of him being at Chico's and talking to Terry Holland in public.

All because he has a PHD in pirate history or something like that. And I am saying that they don't care two cents about what the message board posters write. Unreal expectations are born on message boards.


I am just saying that no one reads these boards and takes them to heart.
