4 sacks against Towson and yet Miles still wont shake up things on this OFFensive line. If he doesnt get things cleaned up quick, Mettenberger will get killed against the likes of Florida, south Carolina and Bama..if he makes it that far.

Just found this myself.
quote:

1. LSU on Offense
Zach Mettenberger does not appear to be the answer at quarterback that so many in Baton Rouge had hoped he’d be. Still, it’s not as if LSU hasn’t learned to thrive over the years without a dominant quarterback on its roster. The bigger concern for the Tigers has been the play of an O-line that’s been at the heart of the team’s recent struggles with the ball. Two weeks ago, LSU managed 12 points—and no touchdowns in the final 49 minutes—against a pretty average Auburn D. And then on Saturday, it had its hands full with FCS Towson, losing three fumbles, getting sacked four times and needing a late rally to pull away in the second half. With Florida, South Carolina, Alabama and Mississippi State on the docket in the next five games, the Tigers are on the verge of getting exposed as overrated in the national title chase.

Because unlike WVU and the newest best thing at QB, they needed all 8 tds to win due to giving up almost as many points as they scored.
LSU has issues but none like some ranked folks out there.
Mett showed LSU can and will air it out and do so successfully. LSU can and will run for yardage and tds successfully. LSU can and will play defense with much success.
Have faith. The media obviously does not.

Two of those were from a cornerback blitz, which is Metts responsibility to recognize. He will get killed if he doesn't start looking out for those blitzes

Very optimistic purple kool-aid outlook. Tough to compare our struggles to others, and then to say they for sure aren't as bad. We have our issues with the passing game, and thats our achilles heel. If we need to pass to win a game, we are screwed at this point.
