CFN has LSU ranked at number 6! Second in the SEC.
Rankings
And vegas is favoring us against a top 10 team.
Sometimes it's good to step back from the ledge and realize that national perception is almost always more accurate than "P&G glasses perception"
I'm disappointed in the season too, but the sky is not falling.

I actually agree with us being higher than 18-20. I never understood why losing to a higher ranked team means you should drop. Doesn't that only prove that the poll is accurate?

If the offense can keep up with A&M then Lsu will be ok

The Black Cloud on this season, and what has the rantards throwing epic rants is the Ole Miss loss.

We can beat aTm.

I 100% agree with you the sky is not falling, but that could change dramatically if we don't beat A&M. What CFN said is 100% correct all 3 losses were on the road and were to good teams at the time, although we should not have loss to Ole Piss as depleted as they were.

We are a better team than A&M and we are playing at home we should win that game. If we don't the excuses will be that it is a top 10 team what did you expect and JFF is a heisman trophy winner. But that is what they will be just excuses, because we are the better team and we are playing at home. Like I said before this game will show us a lot about the make up of the team along with whether our coaches can get this train back on the right track.

Volt there is a lot to be pissed off about that game!! Ole Piss was basically depleted on defense, we are a better team than they are even when not depleted and we came out with absolutely no fricking emotion in that game when at the time we had our own destiny in our hands. If the coaches can't get the team up for a SEC rivalry game, knowing that Ole Piss is going to be ready to play. Seriously that is a BIG issue and needs to be addressed.

Yes - 3 and 3 against OM in the last year including a loss to a team without 6 starters that had to play a walk on freshman on the DL
Totally unprepared and no excuse for that loss

Agreed.. but everyone has bad games. Mett more than doubled his interception number for the season in one game.
J. Hill had a TO.
bama struggled against Miss State.
FSU against Boston College..
Etc. etc.
They just managed to pull those out.
And we almost did too. Not making excuses. Just sayin' that we didn't suddenly become sucky (therefore the fan base shouldn't say we suck).. just that we got the turnover bug.
Momentum is a sneaky bitch.

A&M is a very BIG game for LSU. It will have implications on the next 3 years. The Ole Miss game.. really didn't screw up anything besides our perception of "OUR" program.
