That quote says a lot about the the lack of hustle & effort. If that is the attitude of the team, we will not win another one. The lack of leadership from the upper classmen is really disappointing. All an indication that we have a group of individuals, not a team.

One team... One heartbeat.... moved on to the the NFL.

Not on the team

And stayed a 4 years.

His attitude is no more the attitude of this team than the rest of us in the board.

Kristian Fulton is not a member of the 2020 LSU football team. He plays in the NFL. He was one of those leaders on last years team.

This is just a lame excuse for the team playing so bad and it's getting fricking old. Everyone else is dealing with shite too. There's no excuse for losing the way we have been losing and who we are losing too.

So you’d be saying this if LSU was undefeated so far?

If it 'counted' they wouldn't give a free year of eligibility....

Would they?

It counts. You have recruits who are watching.

He's right, it's a farce season, doesn't even count against Eligibility. Some conferences either just started or haven't started. It will be remembered as the *Corona Season. Doesn't mean coaches and players shouldn't give their all though

I think a lot of players across the country feel this way, honestly. Guys are playing because they love the sport, but they aren't risking as much this year and not giving the same type of effort because it's just not the same kind of year. I mean, limited or no fans in the stands, different schedule than normal, limited practices to prep for the season, extra protocols and protections for covid, players missing from rosters that should be here, entire teams not able to play games some weeks ... it's not exactly a normal season. It kind of doesn't count this year anyway ...

1. Fulton is currently in the NFL

2. He’s the same guy that fought through injuries to suit up and play, also he didn’t run from a suspension like some other players did instead he manned up while sticking with the team

This season is ultimately just a practice season. It’s unfortunate, but it’s the truth. I’ve decided just to enjoy having football while reflecting on the enjoyment of last season.

If LSU was in contention it wouldn’t be a “practice” season. It’s an excuse fans have for a terrible football team that may only get 2 wins.

I think to deny the impact of a shortened season, with no fans, with a lot of players opting out that doesn’t count against their eligibility would be a little naive.

It doesn’t explain it all but I even opted out of my tickets and I’ve had season tickets for over 20 years because it’s just not the same. The players see it and feel it too. Now, should they, probably not but the impact can’t be denied.
