How is the site determined for the 4 teams participating? I want to get a couple of flights scheduled but can't figure out which location to book. Any insight would be appreciated.

They make it so the top 2 teams get as much of a geographic advantage as they can. If we are the number 1 or 2 team I would venture to say we get the cotton bowl. 3 or 4 and it's a crap shoot.
