I'll never understand why Miles just seemed to write off the Monroe area the way he did. That class 5A district is, or at least was for a long time, one of the best in the state and we got a ton of great players out of those schools. Now, Alabama gets more than we do.

People who can afford to live in nice neighborhoods and send their kids to private schools.

With another signing as a UDFA. 2 UDFA last year also from West Monroe. Turner was the only one who LSU got and he transferred out. And this year we miss out on the top 4 in NeLa (2 from WM, 1 Neville, 1 ouachita) to Tennessee, TCU, bama, and Arkansas

I absolutely hate BR LSU fans, biggest bunch of pussies on the planet.
I doubt if you would go to a game with a 4 hour drive there and a 4 hour drive back, and people from Shreveport and Monroe and Ruston do that for every home game. They love LSU and the sacrifice and expense is worth it to them.
