This team plays with juice when they are underdogs.

Now we're quick to #6. Can we play like champions?

Gonna find out because we should be favored in the next three games.

I heard the players saw the ESPN game day crew all pick Auburn and this is why the players and O said Eff,em.

He doesn't read it. What do you think Derek does all day?

It's in the quote that you linked that he doesn't read it and doesn't care about it, that's why I said bullshite. He should care about it. People have doubted him and probably still do. Whether you agree with that doubt or not, he can still use it. I know I would.

I'm not the one that made a thread about it. I think he should use it. I would as I've already said in this thread.

I agree you can use it and I would too. But what happens when they start praising you at every step? Is that motivation still there?

Have to learn how to block it out. It’s all white noise.

I know they are and so does CEO. That’s why you try to block it all out cause it doesn’t mean shite.

I wish he would continue to embrace who he is. He's emotional and gets his guys juiced. He's taken on that role so much more this year. Last year he tried to be someone he wasn't and it back fired.

They just said that Pete Carroll said you have to "Block out the noise." on the MNF broadcast. That's clearly where O got that from, but I'm not complaining.

Yea, he is definitely showing more emotion on the sidelines this year. It's because he is a lot more comfortable with his staff, and he trusts everyone. It's definitely not a bad thing.

His whole job description probably revolves around finding Bulletin Board material and posting it throughout the locker room. Nothing more

It would bother you or anyone as well if you were coming off of a bad HC experience to be given a chance by your home state school and to have 50% of the fanbase calling you dumb cajun, failure, loser, hypocrite and someone who isn't worthy of his position.

I bet Gus and Mark think he's worthy and I'll bet Saban and Kirby will real soon if they don't already. He's right it doesn't really matter what people say about him bc ultimately it's up to him and his team to discredit the naysayers. Some of it was his own doing, some of it is just pure hate for the man.

You earn respect, it's not given and I think he's earning enough of it to say he doesn't actually believe what people say have any outcome on the game itself. What it can do is slow the progression but if he's good enough, he can over come that as well with a little time. What you morons don't realize is that your just slowing the process down with your negetive talk. So the very thing you actually want to see is being opposed by your own doing.

It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. I think he's an emotional person and expresses them differently than some but there's nothing wrong with an emotional coach, it means he has heart and feelings. He's human, so what if he has emotion or how you say it? "Thin skin" to make it sound as bad as you possibly can. There's nothing wrong with that and many "thin skinned" HCs have been very successful HCs. Actually I think those coaches are the ones the players relate to the most in difficult times. They get frustrated as well.

How does their leader respond to those emotions? Does he work harder, think deeper, and fix the problems. Or does he fold up, isolate, ignore and act as though nothing is going on? I think it's very apparent how he responds and responds quickly. He gets it all out there immediately so everyone has their feelings out on the table to move forward. That's the only way to move forward and grow is to admit the issues, then come up with a plan to fix them or goals, finally achieve those goals one by one to get to your ultimate goal. You will grow in that process. I think it's safe to say this team is growing don't you think?

If you don't think so then you're the coward who can't admit the truth before your own eyes. You're the fake MF'er not Ed O. Sure he's made mistakes and he hasn't hidden from that fact so why keep pounding your chest as though no one knows it? You seem like a very small person in many ways, trying to compensate for attributes you lack. A little sad but if anyone has their eyes open there are lots of people like you in this fanbase so at the very least, you have friends fat bastard!
