CBS games of the week

i noticed CBS has scheduled the game between Ten and Fla on the 18th of sept. no other game was listed for CBS. is that the earliest/first CBS game? kinda late in the year to start if it is. also, any chance LSU/West Virginia is a CBS game? thoughts from rant

CBS doesn't have a game the first two weeks of the season beacuse of the US Open.

It's possible, but just from looking at the schedule I think CBS would take Alabama at Arkansas.

I would imagine LSU/WV being on ESPN at night. CBS will usually go for the SEC matchup before a non-conference (unless the non-SEC opponent is a big-name one or a traditional rival like Florida St.)

with wv, your probably looking at a night game on espn... maybe abc but i doubt it

I'm not sure what the terms of the CBS/SEC contract are, but CBS almost always (until the last week of the season; see Fla st./Fla. or UGA/Ga. Tech) selects in-conference games. Also, as a poster mentioned, Bama/Arkansas will undoubtedly be the 2:30 game that week. More than likely the LSU/WVA game will be the "prime" ESPN game, with an very outside shot of being the primetime ABC game.

Can't be on ABC.
Likely night game on an ESPN network though.
