Not so fast, my friend...... says Dickhead Dodd. He's the only one without Peterson.

Yeah but he's blowing everyone else away with game picks so far.

He's got Pryor #1. Pretty much says it all. I have no idea how that guy still has a job. He's a moron.

Hopefully we play some dumb arse QBs like Russell in the coming weeks that actually dare challenge PP7 because his best shot is to up his INT total and maintain his punt and kickoff averages

I really doubt that Peterson gets the Heisman. I think Robinson and Peterson are in a league of their own right now, followed by Moore and Pryor. I think if Ohio St gets to the national championship and Pryor doesn't screw up to much that he'll win it.

I do think it is good, though that Peterson is even in the discussion right now. This time last year was anyone talking about Ingram, Gerhart, or Suh?

Not even the two best QBs in college.

Andrew Luck
Ryan Mallett

I know Mallett just probably blew his opportunity to win the trophy with 2 picks against Bama, but he's still got the best arm in cfb.

Yea it's still really early in the season. Anything can happen, anyone could go down with a injury or have a couple bad games, like Malletts 3 picks vs Bama.

No to all three.

Suh really just launched himself into the mix by shutting down McCoy.

He was a great player, but this is a prime example of a dominant performance on national television launching one to the Heisman (or in this case, to the Heisman ceremony).

Charles Woodson had his moment....the Ohio State game. Also the last game. He had a punt return for a TD, a pick in the end zone, and even came in on offense and caught a TD. Pretty much single-handedly beat OSU.

PP needs such a performance on national television in order to win. This coupled with ridiculous TD and/or INT stats might be enough.

Unless Robinson has like 5000 yards by then. Then maybe it won't matter.

PP7 is best overall talent in college football right now. Will he win Heisman? No, unless Mr. Miles says *uck it and puts him in on offense to get carries, catches at selected times & (god forbid a passing T.D.) against Alabama o national TV.

P.S. Whats the worst that could happen if the best player you have touch's the ball several times a game?

Broken leg. Concussion. Torn ACL.

The more exhausted a player the more likely that he gets injured.

The worst?

Hmm...maybe something like PP cramping up, coming out of the game, and the next play Julio Jones houses a short pass for about 65 yards and the score.

Something like that.

If PP repeats NC performance in home win against No.1 Alabama he could win it

It's way too early. I can't argue with who he as on his list at this point. PP will have to win at least 3 more games to have a chance. And even then the Heisman is way too political with its voting. I've gradually lost respect for the Heisman over the years.
