CapOne-Citrus Bowl field

I'm watching the State 3-A finals on TV and the field looks pretty crappy. After hosting the Southern Classic, 8 High School finals, and the Champs Bowl, it will be interesting to see what kind of shape the field is in. I suppose a little green paint, and we're good to go!

what is ashame, is that 10 years ago, that was one of the nicer grass fields of all the bowl games, but over the last three years, the grass has gone to shite ..

Moving the state finals here has been a double-edged sword. Great to have them here, but they tear up the field.

I was at last night's game and I notice the exact same thing. With 2 more games today, the grounds crew has a whole lotta work to do before 1/1.
