If this had been posted on September 1st as the likely outcome of the 2009 LSU Fighting Tiger Football Season, 80% of the Rant would gladly accept these results.

Most of us had LSU losing 3 to 4 games this year as we broke in a new QB and realized that we were the consensus pick for 3rd in the West.

This season can still be a net positive - all we need is to hold serve tonight v's Arky and then in the Capital One Bowl demolish an inferior Big 10 School.

POSITIGERS UNITE!!!

We also didn't expect Ole Miss and UGA to be awful at the beginning of the season.

Once again, you "positigers" are all about the results and not focusing on the consistently declining performance.

If we win the next 2 we'll likely end with a top-5 recruiting class. It's getting very close to being set in stone.

If we can land 1-2 more 4* players it's a virtual lock.

Yeah, because winning clearly isnt everything, or anything.

Not only does it seems like the current Coaching staff trusts the programs fate in other teams hands, instead of controlling its own destiny. But it seems like some of the fan base is ok with it as well, as long as it all works out in the end.

Sincerely,

Backdooring Into Bigger Games

Special thanks too,

Pitt 2007
Miss ST 2009
etc.

How difficult is it to have a 9-3 or 8-4 season with LSU's schedule the last two years? You have 4 guaranteed wins before the season even starts by virtue of cupcake OOC scheduling. All you have to do is break even in conference.

With LSU's recruiting is it under or over performing?

Damn people talk about saban on here more than miles, what is the deal with that, hasn't he been gone for a few years now. none of this has anything to do with saban, except hes gonna keep beating miles arse for the foreseeable future
