Why would he be a HR hire? He has one year as a HC, yes he went to a SR but then he got fired because of the off the field shite and apparently he took it on the field, texting the chick from the dugout during games.
There are several young and upcoming HCs around the country that can point to consistent, sustained success.

There’s no other coaches out there with better credentials than we currently have...but he’s getting STALE....

Cannizzaro would kill it here. He has plenty of experience and would recruit his dick off. This isn’t rocket science. Good players win games.

Because he has been around the program, recruited at the school, and has shown he can win in the sec. that doesn’t mean there aren’t other worthy coaches. He is just the obvious & easy choice

I mean....it’s the Will Wade blueprint everyone loves so much! What fricking young and upper commin coach lead a top tier SEC team to a Super after being a Scout and Hitting Coach....... down 6-7 pitchers due to injury......

Except for the fact that wade proved that he could lead a basketball program successfully multiple years at 2 different spots. Andy has 1 year as a HC and got fired because he cant be trusted to lead a program with his off the field actions. The two are not comparable for that reason alone.

I don't see how you can hire him. What he did at Mississippi State is a limited sample size. After all that happened there, he can't just walk into a job like LSU.

Andy showed he could teach hitting, base running, and could recruit......stole one of our best recruits to go to MSST and went to a Super vs LSU with no pitching....
I love Wade, but Chattanooga and VCU don’t equal getting the Head coaching job at MSST in Baseball.
He cheated on his wife........doesn’t make him a bad coach.....Hell the RANT would have thrown a party if Hugh Freeze was named OC at LSU....

What was it? Like 2 weeks into the season when he resigned? And it was a football staff member he was tapping for those that don’t know.
He resigned 2/19/2018........boy he really got that season cranked up.....

Old Paul doesn't have the chest to hire Andy C. For a catholic city in a catholic state with a catholic head coach we sure do condemn people over one transgression. Andy C can coach baseball period.

He resigned 2/19/2018........boy he really got that season cranked up.....
If its not a big deal then I guess he never should have resigned then. It's not like he had practices before the season started or anything that could have effected the upcoming season...
