If the call against Wing had come in a close game, lets say sometime in early November, at a hostile stadium, and the points lost would have cost us the game.....
There would be riots....

Just another dumb rule change by the NCAA, unfortunately it might cost someone a game sooner or later. I'd like to meet these Geniuses who think there ideas are good and paving a new direction for college football

Ya but the rule to erase the TD, just tired of them fricking with the rules for a year, then probably change it back the next.

Assuming the fine refs in that game don't decide to start selectively enforcing other rules in that section. There are something like eight of them.

FWIW, the refs sucked today. Between the call against Wing, the blatant horse collar on Ware that wasn't called, and the numerous times UF was holding and didn't get flagged, I REALLY hope we don't have that crew for Bama. The SEC continues to have the best players, teams, and coaches. Yet, we also have the worst refs.

Don't know about that since I didn't watch the game closely, but every team holds, and could probably be called almost every play in the scope of the rule, usually doesn't get called unless it is flagrant.

There were a number of runs where I saw our players jerseys being stretched by a hold at the point of attack. Those should have been obvious to the refs and weren't called.
