can we root for coach O and the tigers

without being accused of ruining your day?
this is not the same as saying we ought or hope to hire BeBe as the next head coach.
I feel great about what's going on. it's a great story. I want to win all the rest of our games! which means I want coach O to win all the games as interim head coach.
probably not going to happen. but i'm rooting like hell for it to happen.
let the chips fall where they may!

Why would that come anywhere close to ruining someone's day?

as a fan we are all pulling for coach O and our Tigers to win out
we also want the very best coach for the long haul - saying that if CEO wins out it will be hard not to give him the job

Well, I'm sure you're aware that there have been several people on here claiming to be Tiger fans that were rooting like hell for LSU to lose as many games as it took for Miles to get fired.
Now there's a bunch posting shite about how much the coaching staff and the team needs every fans 100% support. Even though they refused to give that kind of support to the previous staff. Bunch of pathetic whining losers.

see, I've already ruined some days just by asking.
I've seen many a post from guys who were popping a blood vessel over the thought of the tigers doing well enough for BeBe to get the job.
it ain't very likely, so I don't really understand why the waste of energy worrying about it.
i'm going to use my energy rooting for the team, and, thus, the interim coach.

You didn't ruin my day. I want LSU to win every game they play, in every sport they compete in. My complaint is that some of you guys wouldn't show Miles and his team the same support that you're begging or demanding from all the fans now.
I also hope that Oregon does well enough to at least be considered for the position full time. There seems to be some that are hung up on his record at Old Miss, but damn, that was 9 or 10 years ago. I'm sure he's learned a lot of coaching and himself since then. Good luck to the man and the Geaux Tigers!

I went thru a period some time ago where I was angry at miles, but I got over it. I appreciate what miles did when he had it going. I was always rooting for the tigers. even though I wasn't a big fan. I never wanted lsu to lose so it would affect les.
still, even now i'm more rooting for the tigers than coach O. you can't do one without the other.
