We're down voting how stupid you are. You don't bunt with runners on second and third unless you try a squeeze play which probably won't work. You're trying to hit a ball into the outfield in this situation either with a sac fly or with a base hit.

That's what I'm thinking. You could squeeze the guy home, put a man on thirdwith 2 outs. Haven't seen Smith make very many timely hits all year

My youngest son is a junior in HS and we experience the same CPM "fear the bunt" syndrome. Sometimes I think he doesn't want to win. Runner on 1st or 2nd and no outs and never see a bunt.

3 years ago the entire rant and LSU fanbase was going on and on about how Mainieri always bunts and never lets the guys hit. Now he lets them hit and doesn't bunt and the fanbase still hates his decisions
