or will they still be patting each other on the back after the auburn game?

let's face it - our secondary looked elite vs auburn. defensive line found itself after the 1st quarter. special teams haven't looked that good in years. offense made some plays - looks like they are coming alive. we should be able to run the ball for 150 -200 yards against the black bears.

what team will show up?

coach O can't let up trying to motivate this team. Learn from Nick, O.

not necessarily a bad thing. This team needed some confidence. They did not think they were good enough to compete by the end of that MSU game. Now they know, or at least believe, that it's a matter of effort and focus, not capability. Team also needed some swag. They weren't scaring anybody. As long as they don't let it go too far, that will be fine.

It will have to be elite Sat. Different style of WR play too. Raymond will have to adjust... well, tweak a little bit to be ready.

that would be the 64,000 servings of gumbo question. That will be decided this week in practice.

agree. There's no shame in emulating him. He should fighting his nature and instead of putting down OM, he should be pumping them up in practice. A good dose of fear and pride is better than overconfidence and complacency.

Imo, it's Coach O's #1 job to keep the players properly motivated and at the same time level headed during the season.

I think we match up well with ole miss .

Shea Patterson is the real deal but so are our DBs . I see a few picks this game , possibly a pick 6 from Jackson . He will get one before his time is up here .

I think our team matches up well with Ole Miss and it's not like we cruised past Auburn, so I don't think we'll be overlooking them. But yes, it's a dangerous team because they can score and they hate us along with Coach O.

I'll remember O said after the MSU game, something to the effect of "they were better than some of us thought."

I think we need to be concerned in these spots until they prove that they can dispatch inferior opponents like good teams do.

This game will be a bigger indicator of Orgeron's ability as a head coach than the auburn game was in my opinion. The emotional letdown is gonna be a dangerous factor coupled with the temptation to pencil this in as a win and it could be a trap game of sorts. If we don't take care of business, all the good will that came from Saturday is gone.
