Well they spent all of the last practices on rebounding and defense. Sooo maybe free throws are next.

Didn't they shoot them well Sunday?

I would like to know what they do during practice... Because apparently it isn't FT's and offensive plays.

Makes you wonder what they do at practice. Can't make free throws, don't play defense, no offensive strategy besides chunking the ball

Literallt the commentators said they spent 75% of practice on rebounding and defense...

But the rant thinks they watch porn and play dominoes at practice.

I'm sure they can make time for free throws now that the defense has been perfected.

Rant narrative

It's pretty obvious to anyone who has ever played competitive basketball. If a player spends five minutes a day practicing free throws he'll shoot upward of 70% in games.

Most of the players on this team look like the only time they ever shoot free throws is in the games themselves.

My high school team shot 75% from the line my final year. How many players on LSU's team this year are at 75% on the season?

After Practice we used to shoot about a 100. Our Gym had 6 goals and everyone was at a goal shooting. Remember Col. Potter shooting a 1000 without missing!!

Our coach wouldn't let us go home until someone made 10 straight. That was every day. So yeah, needless to say we got good at it.

I love seeing this thread. The players practice free throws before and after practice everyday.

Also, the whole "You can't go home until you make x amount..." you cannot do that in college basketball. You have a set amount of time you have to practice. So if you sit there and stay 2 hours after because 2 guys can't make 10 straight, you then lose 2 hours of valuable practice time.

We were great in our last game at FT's, terrible this game. Victor was 1/10...the guy has not shot a FT in a game in over a year...OVER A YEAR!!! Let's just pump the breaks about FT shooting

They should practice free throws after they run gassers. Would better simulate game type situations.
