Hershel Walker was ask to carry Ga and for the most part he did. But today's college players are much bigger and faster, fans and media say Fournette alone would not be able to carry LSU into the playoffs.

All I know is this of the worldly young man who reminds me in many ways of Walker, Fournette has the talent and heart of Walker enough so he would try and carry LSU's players, LSU's band, and the waterboy if necessary to a national title.

All Fournette needs is enough LSU players with the same amount of heart, that we can all agree would bring LSU a championship.

highly unlikely

*ETA: i'm assuming you mean by carrying the team on his back while the team continues to have a similar passing game

Yes, and with a few big pass plays at a needed time, and a few big defensive stops at a needed time LSU can win it all.

Walker was the reason for UGA's last title. Buck handed him the ball and they won. Buck made some decent plays and so did the defense that year.

It's not unheard of

LSU opened its playbook some vs Miss St and Aub, not so much passing a lot but a variety of plays. I expect more of that.
And I expect other LSU players to man up and play with heart.

We'll be fine as long as Harris' athletic ability allows him to remain a run threat (on read options and broken down pass plays).

It wouldn't surprise me a bit if South Carolina is a close game and LSU puts a beat down on Florida like they did against Auburn. And then w. Kentucky is a close game. That's the way this season is going for several teams.

Cam Newton did it.

At the moment? No, probably not

If our passing game becomes mediocre? Yes, no doubt.

No way. Lsu is the only team that struggles or has off games.

Of course he can. Leonard Fournette can do anything.

I realize he did it as the qb. I don't remember Auburn having a superior run game that year besides Cam running around.

No Saban will scheme the "F" out of our offense and find all of our tendencies. Still have my doubts about Steele don't think he's that good.
