I remember Red Auerbach said in his book he was never worried about plays in the last minute of a game because they practiced them so much. Said in the huddle he would just say ok guys, play so and so. He made fun of coaches that were going nuts in last minute huddles and diagramming plays. Said if they were doing their job right, it should be no big deal to them.

Because there was a flag on the reception on the 4 yard line, Miles should have asked for at least a couple of seconds be added to the clock. It looked like his knee was down with about 3 seconds on the clock. The clock had stopped because of the penalty so there was an opportunity to talk to the officials.

Where have you been? It's the Lester Miles show...the bumbling, stumbling, and mumbling coach who recruits great players, puts them in a uniform and says, have fun...
No thought process needed...
