A 247 poster is saying coach o will not be retained that's why he leaked his name for Syracuse

Whoever comes in would be insane to get rid of him.
Plus O would be insane to leave the state again, he has a great influence in LA. If he wants another HC job he better look at Tulane.

nobody knows shite about assistants. Not being a dick, just being factual. Lot of chatter about the HC job, but really, nobody knows about the assistant coaches at this point.

I don't have any info but, he'd be a fool to turn down a head coaching position anywhere. he was screwed by usc.

I'm not an insider but I'm 90% sure that the only reason he threw his name out there for Cuse is because he sees the writing on the wall. O is a smart guy who isn't going to get blindsided and left without a job

Yeah I thought the same thing. He is just CHA! He will be retained in my opinion and will stay if asked. The new coach coming is crazy to let O, Wilson and Raymond leave

Guy wants to be a head coach. He was merely hanging around LSU to get some good exposure for a head gig. That didn't pan out and he knows what's going down with Les so he's just looking out for himself. Would love to keep him but he's gonna have a head gig somewhere else. Sometimes incoming coaches interview the old staff to see if they want to keep someone but most just bring in their own staff. Orgeron doesn't want to wait to see if he'd be retained.
