The most productive receiver group from the SG was Dural and Chark wide and Dupre in the slot. Expect to see this as your #1's going into the season.

Diarse will play a lot too - not sure where but they will work him in to support run game and short to intermediate passing

Yeah after seeing that, they should shift to a three wide base IMO. Get as much of your best talent on the field at the same time, and make it more challenging for the opposition. The NFL has mostly already switched to this concept and they are usually the latest to the party.

Does it really matter who WRs are?

It mattered in the bama game.

brief review. LSU leads 13-10. Jennings to Quinn for the first down on a ball that looked catchable. No catch.

time goes on. LSU needs a first down to run out the clock. Jennings to Quinn, about a yard in front of him. No catch.
Bama comes back. Blah blah.

Any of several years LSU teams past WR starter's would have caught that first one 9 out of 10 times. I would not have caught that 2nd one on my best day. Beckham, probably. Diarse got more PT after that game so I doubt the poster that has Quinn #1 and Diarse down the depth chart.

It matters, even though Jennings and Harris are not yet dependable in the clutch.
Not yet implying, hope springs eternal. the LIGHT GOES ON, THE GAME SLOWS DOWN, <=== some of that.

While waiting for the baseball game yesterday, I watched some of the spring football game. Am I the only one who did not see that much improvement out of Jennings? Still can't make the short pass, and still overthrowing receivers. If he does indeed start this season, and there is no improvement, doesn't matter who the WR/TEs are. Same story, different year.
