It will be very evenly matched. There isn't any reason we couldn't pull it off though!

All depends on the pitching.

I have very serious doubts LSU sweeps Florida. First big road test against the #1 ranked team with our two aces being freshmen. I'd be elated to win 1 and lose two close games

It's a statistical impossibility

This a series where if one team does get swept...they can still be the NC...both teams extremely good.

Florida pitching is bad-arse. All three average way more than 1 K per inning and they walk very few batters (29 in 166 IP). Team ERA is 0.89. As good as LSU's schedule has been, Florida's is better. They have beaten Oregon twice, Michigan, and Arizona.

This weekend will be tough...either way our young kids will grow up some more and learn. I would be happy with 1 win. Any thing else is major lagniappe.

I hope our hitters can ruin that Florida ERA in one weekend.

...either team COULD sweep the other ... neither is LIKELY to happen ... but it MIGHT , home field is big, so if it were to happen , that is an edge for Gaytors ... me - Im happy if Tigirls get one at this point ... but me hope for da best !

Now this sounds like some interesting sports action.

In softball, much like baseball, any scenario is possible. These are the two best teams in the SEC and possibly the entire country. The LSU team next season will be insanely good as the majority of the best players this season are underclassmen. We'll know more about them after this weekend but it is just one series. A team this young will likely not peak for another six weeks or so.

Possible
Not likely
On the road, two out of three would be super. Even one win wouldn't be a letdown.

Both are very good and this will def be a measuring stick for LSU. If they do sweep or even take two from FL what a momentum boost that will give them?!?! This is gonna be some damn good softball, how many times do you hear that? We have to be near the top or we are the top at hitting grannies this year? Hell we made a good run last year, and our pitching has more depth this year. Offense is better also. They pretty damn good and after this week we could very well be number one or two.

If LSU'spitching is up to task, maybe 2 of 3 but Florida has better prepared itself for such a series with its non-conference schedule.
