More walks then strikeouts.
So we will get a lot of walks, followed by some strikeouts?
Grammar aside, no good can come from facing such a low-talent pitcher.

Duplantis and Josh Smith not starting tonight, PM wants to play some other players.

So he takes out the two guys who are actually competent at the plate right now to try others. This should be a game where Watson, slaughter, and Pap all sit.

Hope Grambling can serve as our slumpbuster. Definitely agree with OP. There's a difference in being aggressive and swinging at every damn first pitch we see.

As long as those first pitches are fastballs over the plate im cool with swinging at them

Hopefully that means guys like reid and romero will get playing time

Why do you say that? Seems like this would be the perfect game for the struggling hitters to break out of their slumps.

The last two games we were patient enough at this point they need to change how they are swinging at certain pitches mostly fastballs. Too many ground balls straight at defenders and even more pop ups. They can't seem to square a ball up to save their lives. The ground balls aren't hard hit either many are off one end of the bat or come off the bat at an angle making it easy to catch up with or it's just popped up or fouled. When you are fouling fastball after fastball there is an issue.
So they either foul fastballs off, hit dribblers off of the fastball or pop it up. That's the pitch you have to square up. At least be good at hitting the fastball.
