He was talking about how he and Les have worked together for a long time and the comfort level he feels here. Said we will always be a huge fan of the 4-5 yard runs and the physical nature that it creates for an offense. We'll always be a vertical passing team and he really likes what we have going on at QB right now. He's not tipping his hand but he made it very clear that the QB position is wide open. He also mentioned that he really likes the technical teaching or WRs are getting from Adam Henry. If you can't do certain things you won't see the field. That could explain Leslie not sniffing the field last year.

2nd part is on now. Talking about the role incoming freshman play. If you can play early you will at LSU. That's why kids love to come here.

Now he's on to the dreaded "will TEs play a bigger role this year" question that we've been talking about for a decade it seems and of course Cam says they will.

Saw this on twitter. Not sure if it's a part of his interview or not:

He'll play but probably won't catch a lot of passes. He's 4th on the TE depth chart.

D. Smith
D. Gordon
L. Stokes
J. Washington

Stokes is your run blocker type. Gordon seems like a fringe between a receiving threat & blocker. Smith & Washington have receiving threat written all over them.

Because we haven't had a relevant TE for 7 years now. It's a piece of the LSU offense that should help out two young QBs [Hell, Mett could have used a reliable TE at times].

I'm still somewhat shocked that top tier receiving TE's [Smith& Washington] want to come here.

We haven't had a great offense in the last 7 years until last year. And with ODB, Landry and Hill, as Hunt Palmer said - There's only one football.

With uncertainty at WR this year and a year under DeSean's belt and another year of experience for Dickson, Stokes, etc., I would be SHOCKED if TEs aren't more involved this year.

I listened to the audio last night, it seemed like Cam chuckled when the question came up. I'm sure the #1 question offensive coaches have taken through the years from fans is "why don't you throw to the tight end more"...
