yea in real time it looked like a drop but numerous replays showed that it was just a great play by the db.

some people just expect waaaayyyyy too much, its probably the same people that were calling for the destruction of everything LSU after the gators disaster! rantards

I wouldn't call it a "Drop". But, I still think he should have caught it none the less. It hit both hands and he kind of double clutched the ball, which is when the DB hit his arm causing it to fall out.

I was right on top of the play. It was right in front of my face. The DB made an outstanding play to wrap around and pull down Byrd's left arm just enough. He pulled Byrd's arm down right before he could pull the ball into his body or grasp it with both hands. Great play by the D. I haven't seen the replay since I got back from SC so I don't know what it looked like on film.
