this team has been underachieving, Les miles relies to much on his assistants, he is just not getting it done, team is not prepared team.
few players have communicated to us and said it was Bama or nothing, they are just trying to get out of this season with no injuries so they can move on.
this is time for Les miles and lsu to move on.
we need to get started and buyout Les miles contract, we have the money, when the fans are not supporting, effort on the field is lackluster, revenue starts to skow down we need to make change. losing bowl games, talent wasted.
here is our teams worth we can afford buyout!
Rank School Estimated Program Revenue* Intrinsic Values**
1 Ohio St. $93,036,878 $1,127,580,000
2 Michigan $112,291,813 $999,130,000
3 Texas $128,729,268 $972,110,000
4 Notre Dame $102,494,243 $936,380,000
5 Florida $99,454,773 $815,420,000
6 Oklahoma $103,038,214 $776,540,000
7 Alabama $120,142,639 $760,550,000
8 Georgia $85,937,753 $710,900,000
9 LSU $109,173,162 $659,180,000

I'll drop a 10-spot in gofundme if you start the page

I understand revenue, but how do you "value" something that could never be sold
Posted on 11/15/15 at 11:39 am to The Mick
The 12 million can and will be easily negotiated down if they can get Miles to cooperate...happens all the time

Not getting it done LSU is 7-2 with a young team, and les is the best coach in LSU history just look at his stats no one is even close.

LOL Alleva will not pay that buyout
EVER
EVER

Contract calls for buyout to be paid in twice the remaining time of the contract at time of termination without cause. So it would be paid over 96 months, not lump sum.

How much is Alleva's buyout?
Posted on 11/15/15 at 11:43 am to tom
why is this on the AD, he doesn't coach the team!

To compile the numbers, Brewer analyzed each program’s revenues and expenses and made cash-flow adjustments, risk assessments and growth projections for each school. The resulting figures represent what the teams might fetch if they could be bought and sold on the open market like professional teams

Pay it, and go after Chip Kelly.

yeah I like that. chip would be great fit here.

this needs to happen sooner than later. no need to drag this out for another couple years

Wasn't the whole Chavis thing about us not wanting to guarantee him any money past 2016? Doesn't that give you a pretty good idea of where the administration sits with Miles?

He's the one who created this enormous cluster frick contract...it's on his hands.
Gullible frick... (see Arkansas extension)

This topic is laughable, since 2010 LSU is 33-13 in conference play the greatest run is LSU history and you want to fire the guy. Most LSU fans are delusional, this is as good as it has ever been don't believe me look it up.
Posted on 11/15/15 at 11:47 am to Draconian Sanctions
totally understood but things have changed and that's for 2016. so one more year of this?
why wait.
why wait.

Cooperate while he's being fired? Lol I thought they got negotiated down when you were trying to hire a coach not fire them
