Yes.

Burrow is better than a NFL MVP.

“Every time a football player goes to ply his trade he’s got to play from the ground up — from the soles of his feet right up to his head. Every inch of him has to play. Some guys play with their heads. That’s OK You’ve got to be smart to be number one in any business. But more importantly, you’ve got to play with your heart, with every fiber of your body. If you’re lucky enough to find a guy with a lot of head and a lot of heart, he’s never going to come off the field second.”

Imagine where we’d presently be if he hadn’t transferred.

Bert Jones and Tommy Hodson has to be at least in the discussion with maybe Rohan Davey and JaMarcus Russell. However, Burrow is very special and makes a best ever list, no question.
Just stop. It's not even close. Burrow hands down is the best to ever play QB at LSU. Please tell me you can understand why?LINK

Did you ever see Jones or Hodson play? They had every bit as much moxy (or swag) that Burrow has. Burrow is in the discussion, but don't discount an NFL HOF’er.

I’m over 60 and like you he is the best I have seen. May be a few with a little stronger arms, but as a QB overall no one I have seen comes close. The way he has command of the offense, the throws into tight windows....he has been a pleasure to watch.

I have recorded all of the games this year. After season is over I will enjoy them all till next season.

Still behind Rohan in my book. But he’ll probably catch him before he’s done!

Burrow no doubt has the "it" factor.

I’d be shocked if he doesn’t have a good pro career.

Now the real question is can we land another of similar capabilities. I would think young QB;s from around the country are looking at us as a destination.

He reminds me a LOT of Tom Brady.

He looked like he barely broke a sweat during his interview after the game.

Is his passing stat from last night (21 for 24) a record for LSU?

Burrow is truly great and has likely been a better college quarterback than the legendary Hall of Famer,Y.A. Title.

It will take a great NFL career from Burrow to match Title.

Jones and Hodson are not in the NFL HOF. Jones did have a few great years in the NFL though. Won an NFL MVP in 1976.

Right now I put Rohan ahead of Joe, but Joe can definitely move up depending on the outcome of this season. This is far and away the best/most exciting offense I’ve even seen at LSU though

To be fair, if Bert Jones ran this offense, not sure Joe would be better. FWIW...
