Looks like CSF has no plans of laying down. Should be a great opening game.

I think it's funny that the one talking trash isn't even an every day player, but a starting pitcher, who will at most see action in two out of the five games they'll need to win the CWS.
Oh, and according to the article, he supposedly popped off about Long Beach before the super regional. He started game 1 and Fullerton lost that one. Then they came back to win the next two with him watching from the dugout.
I'm sure his teammates appreciate his mouth writing a check that they will have to back up.

I am pretty sure if LSU and Oregon State win their game one they will play each other in Game 2.

I mean, it's not out of the realm of possibilities.
LSU goes 2-0, OSU loses to CSF, then goes through the loser's bracket before facing LSU, and needing to beat them twice in order to get to the Championship series.
He's just saying LSU will meet OSU in Game 11.

Lol and in the name of accuracy, I'll point out that if they both lose Game 1 they will play each other as well.
There is no "bracket switch" in the CWS. They do it in the softball world series and I really like it...it keeps you from playing the same team over and over. It also allows for the possibility of two teams from the same bracket facing each other in the finals.
