I think the new coach will be at Les's salary or below. It'll be a PR nightmare to give Miles a large bonus to remain at LSU or pay an incoming coach 5M/year.
LSU is gutting entire departments, although athletics is self sufficient it'll be a disaster PR move to give Miles a 1M raise since LSU budget cuts have made national news.
