I remember Jimbo well....he wasn't all that.
He ISN'T all that at Florida State. He has MUCH MORE talent than all the other teams outside of Clemson recently....and it's not even close. He won a championship against a weak ACC....and then benefitted from getting a very lucky Auburn team that they barely beat....
Man....I'm just not sold on Jimbo...more boring safe teams....
People think Chip will run the same exact offense as at Oregon.....he will have much different talent here...MUCH....and he is very innovative.....he will adjust I can almost guarantee......you are selling him short....and, the kicker is...he will drive Saban absolutely crazy.

Ok. So we dump Miles. Then put on the brakes until the NFL season is over and wait for a POSSIBLE firing of Kelly to occur. Then contact him and hope he'd agree to come. All the while watching other teams fill their coaching spots with candidates. He keeps his job or turns us down and we're standing there like a moron. I'm going with ain't happening.

Non of you see the coincidence that Herman was offered a $3 million raise last Thursday? A few days after Alleva's comments?

If we get Herman.....all the negatigers are going to get to experience what the posi-tigers have been telling them for years...that hiring a new coach doesn't mean you can't and won't go backwards...example Tenn, Texas, Nebraska, Miami, Michigan, So Cal....etc., etc......
I think it is time for Miles to go....but for those of you that would rather have a complete unproven head coach to take over at LSU....vs a coach as experienced and innovative as Chip Kelly....man, I just don't know what to tell you.

I'm going with the people making this decision are probably several levels higher than you in terms of intelligence....please god tell me they are.
I have NO IDEA whether Chip Kelly will be next coach of LSU....but if he is, you can damn well rest assured that LSU already knows this and isn't HOPING for a pipe dream.

HOLLOW YOU BETTER SHUT YOUR DAMN MOUTH. How did that Arky game for you? Told me I was a complete idiot for saying they were going to loose. You have no damn clue what the hell you are talking about. I never said I wanted Herman, I simply posted his career highlights because someone said he has never won anything. Taking a third string quarterback to the national title game sure as hell is something to me. Putting 42 points on Bama last year. Why don't you go look at all the things he has done at other school before you open your damn mouth.
