Wondering with what the announcers just said about his possible return if anyone has any inside info as to whether or not he really could come back-Kyle schwarber style? He would obviously be a huge addition to the lineup with protecting deichmann

Id rather him go ahead and sit the rest of the year and take a redshirt. Doesn't seem like the kind of guy to leave early and to have him 2 more years would be great.

There's a big difference in Schwarber and Bryce Jordan.

Obviously but in terms of their role to one another's team there's some similarity

Its not like he was our best hitter last season. Then you burn a red shirt and have no clue how long it would take him to get back in a grove at the plate.

Actually he led the team in average and RBIs in SEC play.. I agree with not burning his red shirt though

I mean, not really. Sure one is a much better baseball player than the other. But after that, it's kinda like a coin flip....well the facial hair. Yeah, you're right. Forgot about the facial hair

Yes but the problem with that is this is probably the best chance of any of the years he will be here to win it all. Veteran team with lots of guys leaving including Lange and poche. I'd like to throw everything we got if possible into it all this year. He could come up huge in the postseason for us if he's able to go.

I doubt he'd even be ready to just jump in and hit against the best arms in the country in Omaha. Not very many would.

How long have you been watching LSU baseball?

Hess and Walker might make a very good 1-2 punch next season. Add Gilbert and a freshman or two to the equation and bam...we are right there again.

Without accounting for freshman

Coomes, Slaughter, Smith, both Jordan's, Watson, Wooley, Reid, Breaux...I think we will be OK in the future as well.

Read an article that said he started having hamstring problems so he is out.

He can't be any worse than his brother.

Like a guy named Morris a few years back.

Beau and Bryce are probably going to be battling for the DH spot next season
