Had it been any team but Alabama LSU would have rolled. It sucks when a Saban team has that much time to prepare. LSU will get another NC in the next couple of years. At least they were playing in the BCSNC game.

Its not like they will play bama in that game every year, and in fact, we know the Tigers can beat Alabama in the regular season. Its just when Saban gets all that time to prepare it seems no one can beat his teams.

Would love to, but I live in Arizona in the army. Born and raised in BTR area, but I haven't lived there in a couple of years. Thanks.

It was not fair to our guys to have worked hard to be where they were and have to play Bama again. If the tables were turned or if any other team would have been in the same situation at Bama was they never would have been in the Championship Game. Immediatley after the November 5 game the deal was set for what happened and continued on until the BCS announcement. Our guys still had two ranked teams to play including the SEC champtionship game while Bama had Mississippi State, Georgia Southern and Auburn with an additional two weeks to prepare. Alabama focused on the rematch since November 5, they new they were going to get the chance for the re-match. The media hyped it that they were entittled to the Championship. There were other one loss teams who deserved the opportunity to have been there Monday night but the Media got what they wanted at the expense of a group of guys who played and fought hard all year.

Very well written. I never like the matchup rematch and still don't think Alabama deserved to play in that game, but thats a dead argument I guess. I was wanting to see Miles take on his former employer Okie State.
