Brian Kelly’s first two seasons at LSU

19-7 with the bowl game remaining
73% winning record
Now contrast that with Saban’s first two years at Alabama…
19-8
70% winning record
If we lose the bowl game, he matches Saban’s first two seasons at Bama. If we win the bowl game, he boasts a slightly better win percentage.
Saban’s first two years at LSU — 72% with 18 wins and 7 losses.
Ed O’s first two years at LSU (minus the Les Miles games of 2016) — 71%.
Now my question — who had the easier rebuild - Nick Saban at LSU, Nick Saban at Bama, Ed Orgeron at LSU, or Brian Kelly at LSU? Ed O decimated the roster before riding off into contraflow with a big tittied blonde.
Bottom line — LSU will be just fine! An incoming national title is still to be expected under the Brian Kelly reign.
Edited to clarify records

He did it like 19 out of 26 instead of 19-7 like someone who pays attention to sports would do

Good post. I agree with you baw, we have ourselves a damn good coach and anybody who says differently is looking for something to be angry about. Brian Kelly has righted the ship and will lead us to the promise land.

I know what you are trying to say but damn you did in the most arse backward way possible.
Just say 19-7 like a normal person

He’s also 2-4 vs top 10 teams at LSU and was 4-11 in 12 seasons vs top 10 teams at ND.

I hate when people compare BK to Saban because it is unfair to Kelly, but since you brought it up we can do it. Are you expecting us to play in a NY6 bowl this year and win a national championship next year?

The man hasn't fired Matt House as of yet.
How the phuck you saying everything is going to be alright?
We ain't scoring anywhere near 46.5 points per game next season or any season for that matter.

He has been incredibly successful. Won SEC year 1. Had a National Championship caliber team this season if only the Defense would have been top 40ish. Coming out of that bowl game with Kansas state we all would have taken it with smiles on our faces. There has to be improvement moving forward defensively, but so far I am happy.

How many times did he have the team with more or equal talent? That's the biggest prerequisite for beating top 10 teams. Saban loses almost every year to less talented teams. Hell he lost to a lsu team in 2022 that had 1 player drafted in the first 3 rds of the nfl draft.

Every post you post this number… if you can’t understand the challenges these first two years. No one can help you

I think that BK has done about as well as he could given the roster but the only thing that has me hesitant is the recruiting and the lack of talent he will be bringing in compared to the other top programs in the nation. Say what you want but there is a reason UGA.OH ST, bama are always in the top 10 and that is top recruiting classes. Right now LSU is not even top 10 recruiting class in BK's soon to be 3rd year.

I love the commentary on this, can you imagine television commentary ever being this funny while being as enlightening?
Like at the Masters. He got his birdie, ladies and gentlemen, but he did it in the most arse backward way. LOL

LSU had the 5th ranked class this year, currently sitting at 14th for 2024 with some big recuruits leaning towards us which will shoot us up into the top ten - maybe top five, and currently 7th for 2025.
Relax, pussy.

Ed O decimated the roster
Y'all keep saying this.
Ed O was fired during the season
He had no control or influence on players on the roster after that point.
We do it on the routine when a coach is fired wondering who could LSU recruit to leave and come here.
Here's a hint. Nearly every coach who takes over a program after the previous coach was fired inherits a disaster. Unless it is a hire within and that coach can salvage the roster and recruits.
