Just saw some speculation on Twitter that perhaps they did not like Alex going on the radio and saying he was making his debut against someone in grey and red (implying the Angels) with the way Luhnow and Hinch run things, wouldn't surprise me.

Wow, hope that's not true, being confident is not a bad thing. They put up with Gomez being cocky and embarrassing himself, team, and the sport of baseball with his swing.

Bregman is an extremely confident guy but I would not say that he is cocky at all. There is a fine line between confidence and cockiness and people sometimes get them confused.

When Alex said that, I'm sure he meant that's what he was hoping for. Alex himself has no idea when he's gonna get the call.

Not true at all Broham. He was told by the Astros that when the team returned to Houston and the Grizzlies were still in Texas (round rock), he was going to be promoted aka Today. He was told this with so much confidence that family, friends and a few big wigs in the LSU baseball community had already booked trips to Houston.
