He's started for USCe and LSU. By definition, he's a SEC caliber SS. One tough hop doesn't define him despite the upset girls on this board.

Agreed. Several critical errors already this year including game loser tonight on a routine play. Not to mention the freshman caliber running mistake in 7th inning.
Move Milam to SS and Pearson or someone else with at least some hitting ability to second. Need more good bats in lineup anyway

Y’all are acting like he lost us the game with that one play, but in reality it was going to be a close play to get them out at first. We had many chances to win the game before that. But this is th rant…

I’ve been saying all year he can start at a lot of SEC schools, but LSU shouldn’t be one of them.

He’s actually hitting the ball compared to everyone else. Was a tough hop. He usually makes that play. He’s not the greatest SS we’ve ever had but he’s all we have rn. JT made plenty of errors last year and couldn’t hit for shite.
