Beating the toothless mouth breathers in the trenches is very hard. They're big, fast and deep along the front 7. The blueprint to beat them was what Clemson provided (almost).

Harris will need to improve dramatically but if he can, he has the tools to do it with laser quick passes and the ability to run and spread them out. The old way of trying to run to setup the pass will not work.

If only he had some touch and didn't blow the hands off a guy 5 yards away.

Not even gonna get into his accuracy.

That 10 second windup he has gives their DBs all the time they need to react

Why do people think Harris is a runner?

Exactly the stuff they need to work on. There really is no other option. They have to invest in him and hope he can improve.

But you also need a Freeze or Urban type coach with a modern offensive approach.

He has a very strong arm. Just lacks the confidence. His problems are less fundamental than people think.

Show me the long windup? U and whoever else that keeps saying this are literally dumb as a box of rocks. His motion is fine, shite its damn near perfect. Its all about when those feet come unsettled is where u see release point problems. Now stop making up false shite that others want to spread as fact.

Its because every time the read option was run and right read was made he had 10 plus yards and he has ability to extend plays.

Atleast they came close. Our current run first to setup pass philosophy will not work.

It wasn't bc of the offense. They put up 40 on that vaunted D.

5Alive - besides being a good poster, you have an interesting handle. Short circuit Johnny 5 reference? Or something else?

But they put up 40 on them

It was defense and special teams that cost them the game
