LSUBeatTweet: Breaking - LSU QB Brandon Harris was to have sports hernia surgery on Monday:

LINK

Wonder if this was a cause for his weaker play down the stretch

quote:

“It’s something minor, and I have to go get it taken care of now that the season is over,” Harris said. “It’s nothing serious, but I’ve had it for a long time. It’s been nagging at me for a while. So, this is the perfect time to take care of it. It’s a minor procedure.”

Also:
quote:

RossDellenger: Confirming this news. Harris suffered injury vs Bama. Surgery is Tuesday I'm told, but either way... LINK

Impossible. He just got bad for no reason other than he is bad.

The Rant told me so.

Impossible. He just got bad for no reason other than CLM is a bad coach who hamstrings his OCs and deliberately sabotages his players with bad playcalling, and Cam Cameron is bad too even if he's totally being hamstrung by CLM. Plus, Harris bad.

The Rant told me so.

Les didn't tell us!!
It must be very bad.
Maybe he won't be able to play again!!
Maybe its life threatening!!
OMG!!
Why do they hide these things from us?
We fans have a right to know. Everything.

would certainly explain accuracy issues later in the year, even though his decision making was still pretty solid.

Hopefully he comes to camp in shape and healthy

He's a tough SOB for playing through that, sounds painful.

Hmm. This injury is painful playing through. That would explain his drop in play because I thought he played very well and efficient up until Bama.

No one can question his toughness. Explains the drop off in accuracy and throwing on the run.

I mean did you watch Jennings in 2014? Stats wise, JJ was actually better than him.

Sounds like he's transferring out anyway.

The writing was on the wall last season when Harris started sooner than any LSU qb in over 20 years. Yet we heard time and time again Harris would never play.

What most likely happened is it didn't bother him enough to not play. But one thing I do know, Harris was throwing high before bama and after, so some of his issues were there all season.
