Brandon Harris statements - prove it.

People tend to believe what they see and not what they hear. While I do appreciate his confidence in thinking he has the best arm in college football, after our last two season's passing game, he needs to be quiet and prove it on the field. Talking is only going to create an unnecessary distraction for the team. At this point, I am not even convinced he has the best arm on the team.
Advice: Stay quiet, stay humble and prove it to me.

I don't think he is looking for reporters is he? Seems like he is answering the questions he's asked and he's doing it well.
I've supported BH since his freshman year; I fell in love with his deep throw. I do think he has problems with his touch, and don't think he can improve it enough, but his speed can hide the deficiency.

Was he terrible last year? I don't think he was terrible, but all the props to him for staying humble and realizing he wasn't the greatest.
Also I don't mind the confidence in saying he'll be the best QB in the SEC with the best team in the SEC. He'll need confidence when Saban/Bama come over here.
On the other hand, I realize these are questions asked by the media and he answered them gracefully. But like the OP says, people want proof. So many times we have felt confident in our QB to just guide us through the season and not be a world-beater. And so many times we have been disappointed.
I hold my reservations for once the season starts and we see what he's learned with a year of good experience and 2 good summers of practice.
Also I don't mind the confidence in saying he'll be the best QB in the SEC with the best team in the SEC. He'll need confidence when Saban/Bama come over here.

The kid probably LT does have one of the best long ball arms in the league by far. He can fling the frick out of the ball beautifully down the field. If he can get his short to medium passed down, he will be a phenomenal QB. If he can't, we are looking at another 3 to 4 loss season.
