Fasten your seat belts ladies and gentlemen, for the ride of your life. Brandon Harris is about to be unleashed on the SEC! They wont know what hit them!
Coach Miles is keeping a lid on the excitement. But if you listen carefully. you will know. The tight ends are guaranteeing they will be catching lots of passes. The swing pass is being prioritized with Leonard and Guice. Brandon has taken the vast majority of first team snaps. The vertical, field stretching speed demon wideouts are in place (Dural & Chark). The mismatch 6'3' high jumping slot receiver is ready (Dupre). The sure-handed first down machines are primed for action (Diarse & Quinn). Miles is talking about 5 WR sets and spreading the field. Get ready for a great offense people! We've got the QB we have been longing for. Miles will finally take his foot off the brakes. Its about to happen!
The year sets up great for BH. McNeese, a good FCS team to get his feet wet. Then MSU, against whom he had success against last year. Also their defense has the 12th rated DBs and 11th rated front seven. He'll light them up and get some confidence on the road in the SEC.
Auburn up next. Their DBs are ranked 9th in the SEC. With our run game, their corners will only get one safety over the top help, which means only 1 receiver doubled. I like those odds. Also a home game. We should go 3-0.
If we go 3-0, with wins over MSU and AU, then Syracuse, Eastern Michigan, South Carolina, Florida and Western Kentucky should just be confidence building training for BH, in preparation for our trip to Tuscaloosa. LSU should be 8-0 heading there, with a boatload of confidence and one of SEC's hottest QBs. Bama will not go 5-0 over the last 5 games against LSU. A win over Bama and 9-0 start, it would be hard to beat this team the rest of the way. So Arkansas, Ole Miss and aTm better beware!
All prognosticators agree that if LSU gets just decent QB play, they are a threat to win the West and make the playoffs. So with BH's dynamic QB play, LSU will be among the top 4 or 5 five teams in the nation. Miles knows what is about to happen. He knows being conservative this year will get him another 8-5 record. He must let it rip. BH is his secret weapon. That cannon on BH's right shoulder is Miles' weapon to neutralize the defenses of his SEC competition. His underrated running ability will be an added weapon to the arsenal.
(Edited to add Florida)

This is what we need, the ability to attack downfield. I'm not just talking about down the sidelines a la Jefferson to Randle, when we could just ask him to run straight and he'd beat his man by five yards. I mean over the middle of the field, 15-20 yards past the line of scrimmage. It's what keeps defenses honest and is necessary to a successful, championship level offense.
Let's hope we have it this year. I've put down $120 on TeamTix that we will.

Noooooo! Mr. Fournette and the running game is a given. Notice I did mention him in the passing game. The SEC knows about number 7 and LSU's running game.
