he just sounded like a veteran leader, not a true freshman

I like the extra work he's getting in during the off-season. Good to see that drive.

There's just no way this kid isn't on the field early this season.

I think he solidifies his spot in fall camp and comes out the starter.

Brandon Harris confidence growing quote: I remember when a lot of people on here were bashing him during his recruitment. Bashing him? Post them

Memphis posting porn on the boards when he committed.

A lot of LSU fans got mad when he said he wasn't gonna camp for an offer and we were leaning towards Deshone and Mason more than Harris until Cam picked up his recruitment. I specifically remember people saying Harris wasn't all that.

I just hope his smaller body can take the kind of blows SEC defensive players are going to be delivering and stays healthy. If he does, we will geaux far.

How much do u have to work out to gain 20 lbs in 3 months?

I was watching an interview with Landry and he talked about gaining 10lb of muscle and lowering his body fat within a month of going to the training facility that he went to before the combine. It obviously depends on your body, and what kind of regime you are one.

Yeah lol. He had all the physical tools, but looked raw as hell on his junior tape. On his senior tape, he looked more in control had better touch, better accuracy, and just looked all around better. Threads about how he did his recruitment still make me laugh til this day.

From the comments

Well that's an ignorant comment. It's a typical hyperbole that most people use. He probably feels like he has learned a lot and improved a lot since leaving high school, and I am one to believe it.

I believe Harris will be LSU's all time winningest QB before he leaves.

Given Jennings' apparent ability to respond to pressure, hopefully Brandon's demeanor and skill pushes him to the next level. That said, I'll pull for any Q in the purple and gold bring out.

But is he well spoken?

After his playing days are over, network broadcasting is in his future. It was a very impressive interview. Listen to it. The easiest way to find it would be just to look at my posts.

I know time will tell on Brandon but what I really like about this kid is that he has an opportunity to FINALLY be that QB Miles has so desperately wanted since being at LSU. RP would have been that guy but we all know what happened there. This kid has that rare gift of great legs and a cannon for an arm. If he puts about 15 more pounds on he will be ready to go physically....Cam seems to be making strides with the mental aspect. High hopes for this kid

I just wish the coaches would give Rettig a fair chance. AMIRITE?
