Bottom line, LSU controls it's own destiny.

I'm tired of all the LSU/FSU crap. Just win and go from there.
We have the talent and I suspect O will have them ready to play.
I can't wait until tomorrow to see where we stand as of right now.

Auburn says no we don't

Why not? If we run this table it would be hard to keep us out of the playoffs.

Auburn sucks.
They'll have more sec losses than us

I hope we do but realistically do not see us running the table. We would have to demolish everyone we play and make a statement every game. Just don't think it's there this year.

I didn't know LSU was playing Florida State.... when's that game happening?!?!
Posted on 10/14/16 at 5:17 pm to sean5340
Its destiny, not "it's" destiny.

Bottom line, so does Alabama....
So does A&M......
Auburn wins the head to head tiebreaker with LSU.....
Ole Piss has one conference loss just like LSU.....
So yea, roughly half of the division "controls their own destiny".

The next two games will answer that question. This game is to further develop the rythm that was found in the A&M game.
The OM game will be the game to make the statement that we are back, lead by Coach Eaux

OK, drunk typing aside, take a look the rest of the schedule.

Reality Check:
No SEC West team has been mathematically eliminated. But take a close look at the standings and consider we have lost to 8th ranked WISC and 23rd ranked AUB and have 5 ranked SEC teams left to play.
Last year at 7-0, ranked #2, with 1 top 10 win over #8 ranked FLA, you could say we controlled our own destiny. Ala had lost to Ole Miss. But we have not and did not fare well in Nov. We now have to play 5 currently ranked SEC teams to end the season. A&M and ALA are both undefeated with 3 wins each over top 25 teams. LSU has none.
With injuries to the O-line and not having Tempo and Spread Run-Pass-Option, winning out is theoretically possible.
LSU is a 2 loss team. In 2007 we were the first 2 loss team to win the NC. The Missouri game was a carbon copy of the South Carolina game. Running and passing from the shotgun, LSU had a record 624 yds vs the 634 yds against Missouri. We ran 83 plays and 82 plays in each game, 20 more than average. However the pace of play was still just over 2 plays/min or the slowest in the SECW.

Auburn has to lose another SEC game... They hold the head to head tie breaker over us.

UF. Sorry not exactly sober.
I stand by my statement. Win the rest and see if they keep us out.

I expected to go undefeated this season. It was shocking to say the least at what LSU put on the field. Last game has restored my confidence. Oline is gelling, defense is coming into its own and Guice and Williams are beasts. Etling is a definite upgrade. I feel like I did before the season started.
