If anyone had to start from the "ground up", it was GD and not NS.

Great for Nick, but what does that have to do with LM getting a pay raise?

Yes. I've forgotten more football than you WILL EVER know. You are consumed with offensive stats. Like I said , go cheer for West Virginia. They have a prolific offense. You weren't happy with our 2011 offense , which had the second most PASSING and RUSHING TDS for a season , IN LSU's entire history. When you say, " all of Miles' offenses have sucked."it just shows how ignorant you are to football.

2011 stats are inflated bc of the Jefferson incident preseason. I truly believe if Jefferson was there from the start, we lose to Oregon and the season is a bust from the get go. Because of the decisions of the coaching staff later in the season, our offensive success that's in the books and what you're referring to was marginalized. That's why people have issues with 2011. Stats only tell half of the story and don't capture our significant struggles late in the season.

There might be two college football fanbases in America who would complain about a season where both of those were true, no matter what else happened in the season (Bama might have some fans as stupid spoiled as the moronic jackoffs we've got on this board).

Imagine that, you devaluing an LSU season. Losing your projected starter inflates stats?

Yea, because Lee had such a marvelous game completing 45% 4.5ypa and 98yds.
The run, ST and the D beat UO, not the QB.

The story is told many ways, but always untruthful and nonfactual by you.
Wikpedia sums the truth nicely.
quote:

Jefferson's final three regular season games were LSU's most productive games in 2011 for total yards and yards per play.[6] In all three games, LSU gained over 450 yards; LSU had gained over 450 yards only once in the prior nine games.[6] Jefferson had a perfect game passing against Ole Miss, and he passed for over 200 yards against Arkansas. LSU averaged nearly 10 points more per game and nearly doubled the rushing yards when Jefferson started as QB. Jefferson finished the regular season with a passer rating of 163.5, highest among SEC starting QBs.[6]

The final 2 post season games were vs the #5 and #1 Ranked Defenses and yes Jefferson struggled, as did many QBs, including Lee.
This truth is free.
All you have to do to avoid looking like a dumbass is look it up, but I guess it's all TLDR for you.

apparently your memory is getting worse in your old age Peej. Look at the roster Saban had his first couple of years. Saban had about 26 or so players go pro while at LSU....about 3/4s of them were Dinardo recruits. The whole "bare cupboard" myth is just that....a myth. If Dinardo had hired a great DC instead of Lou f'n Tepper i have no doubt that he would've won an NC with those players. Miles stepped in to much worse at OK State and turned it around there
People remember what they want, and will not acknowledge this.

Why don't you acknowledge how they got their mulligan? And also how the teams in front of them this last season had to lose for them to get another shot?

They absolutely do. The difference being that Bama fans think that their teams do nothing wrong and LSU fans think that their teams do nothing right.

Yeah, the QB play was such a major factor in the Oregon win.

We lose to Clemson.

Wait, I just saw this.

So you use one season to describe LSU and 4 seasons to describe bama?

Are you intentionally being obtuse?

If you can't understand that we are in the best period of LSU football these last 10 or 12 years then you are completely insane.

I mean, that's got to be one of the dumbest things I've read here.

Not sure where I did this. People claim this is the "golden era" of LSU football. In the past 4 seasons, Bama has won three national championships. LSU, the golden era squad, LOST to Bama, Clemson, and Penn St. and one victory over A&M.

In this golden era, we are 1-3 in bowl games, while Bama has three crystal footballs.

So really? Where is this golden era?

I quoted you.

And we also beat bama twice in that stretch.

If your standard for success is winning 3 out of 4 championships then you are more delusional than bama fans.

Bobby Bowden won 2 national titles 6 years apart. He probably should have been fired before that 99 season by your standards.

LSU has never experienced a decade of football as successful as what we've just had, and you somehow complain about that stretch.

Since you you are so busy eating brains and doing all of that real grown up stuff, you seem to have neglected to use your own.
So I'll explain it to you so that you can go back to the playground and fill in all of your zombie, vamipre, goblin and ork friends.

The term is the golden age of LSU football. Get it? LSU If the writer wanted to reference Bama football he would have written "The Golden Age of Bama football" LSU. Bama. Two different things.

It's kind of like, you know, like when you go to BK and order fries and you pour ketchup on them and you pretend that they are bloody brains and you act like you are growling when you eat them and you say these are the best brains you ever ate at BK. Then you go to Wendy's and eat come chili and you pretend that the chili is brain stew and you say that is the best brain stew you ever had at Wendy's.

Two different pretend brains at two different places. I hope that helped. Now hurry off. Your undead pals are waiting for you at the swings.

People can't rationally defend this so they turn to childish insults about "goblins and playgrounds."

Grow up dude. I said my point and I'm not the only one who feels this way. Look at our past 4 years. Look at the other team in the same division of the same conference as us. The team we are supposed to be just as good as.

Delusional like Bama fans? How are they delusional? Their team is great and plays great year in and year out.

But hey, go back to your hilarious teasing about orks and swings.
